Walnut Flooring

Walnut is elegant flooring which is known for its distinct rich brown details and distinctive grain on every plank. Walnut is softer than some of the other hardwood choices, but wears well because of its texture.

  • Select grade walnut: no knots, light character markings, medium hardness, premium grade.
  • Light rustic / #1 common grade walnut: some knots, moderate character markings, medium hardness, and moderate color variation.
  • Rustic / Cabin Grade/ #2 common grade  walnut: many knots, heavy character markings, medium hardness, contains a heavier concentration of sound, naturally occurring wood features such as knots, buris, heartwood and color variation. Character shows the finger prints of nature.

White Oak Flooring

Classic flooring in traditional or contemporary settings. Refined grain patterns and unique appearance allows for a variety of stain finishes. Typically, white oak is slightly denser and harder, and will stain better than a red oak.

  • Select grade white oak flooring: no knots, light character markings. Has a uniform appearance.
  • Light rustic grade / #1 common grade white oak flooring: some knots, moderate character markings, hard.
  • Rustic grade/ Cabin Grade/ #2 common grade white oak flooring: heavier concentration of knots and character markings. Slight imperfections.
*White oak white washed flooring can turn a green or brown color with aging

Hickory Flooring

Ideal for breath taking patterns and dramatic grain. Perfect for formal or informal settings. Hickory is known for its sharp contrast of light and dark. Among one of the hardest wood species with extreme density standards.

  • Select grade hickory flooring: no knots, light character markings, very hard. Most consistent and premium grades of hickory. Has a uniformed appearance.
  • Light rustic grade / #1 common grade hickory flooring: some knots, moderate character markings, very hard.
  • Rustic grade / Cabin Grade / #2 common grade hickory flooring: knots, buris, and other characteristics. Slight imperfections.

Merbau Flooring

Comparable to hickory in strength, but has a lower density. Excellent dimensional stability and a course textured wood.  Merbau has a natural a yellow to orange brown color.


Cumaru Flooring

Ranges from tan to deep brown in color, interlocking grain and course wavy texture.

  • Resistant to insect attacks
  • More resistant to decay due to its dense nature

Tigerwood Flooring

Exotic wood species that has fantastic dark veins with rich orange and red tones that give it a tiger-like look. Forgiving and great for high traffic areas.


Maple Flooring

Maple is a strong and dent resistant flooring option. Maple is frequently seen in bowling alleys and basketball courts. Contrary to popular belief maple flooring can be stained with a dark brown stain color.

  • Select Grade Maple Flooring: Brightness and uniformity in texture.
  • Light rustic grade / # 1 common Grade Maple Flooring: Eye catching combination of white sapwood with some light brown heartwood. Limited in character markings.
  • Rustic / Cabin Grade / #2 common grade Maple Flooring: Unlimited brown heartwood with heavy character makings.
